What to expect.

Never experienced a sound bath before?

That's absolutely fine.

You do not need to know how to meditate.

You don't need to be spiritual.

And there is nothing you have to "get right." Come as you are, get comfortable and experience it in your own way.

Arrival

Please arrive at the time stated in your booking confirmation so that you can settle comfortably without feeling rushed.

You will be welcomed and given any information specific to your session or venue.

For water sessions, there will be additional preparation and safety instructions.

During the experience

Depending on the session, you may hear instruments such as singing bowls, chimes and other carefully selected sounds.

Some sounds may be soft and delicate while others may feel fuller or more resonant.

Everyone experiences sound differently.

You might feel deeply relaxed. You may notice particular sounds or vibrations. Your mind may wander. You might simply enjoy lying quietly.

There is no correct response.

Sound Baths & Breathwork.

Where Pranayama or conscious breathing forms part of the experience, this will normally take place before moving into the sound bath.

Once the sound experience begins, you can simply settle, listen and allow your breathing to return to its natural rhythm.

Afterwards

We encourage you to take your time getting up.

For water sessions, follow the facilitator's instructions when leaving the pool or floating equipment.

Give yourself a moment to reorient before rushing back into your day.

Land-Based Sound Baths

Please wear appropriate swimwear.

Bring comfortable clothing to change into afterwards.

Follow any specific swimwear requirements of the host venue.
